TERMS OF SALE

The reservation of a room implies the acceptance of the General Conditions set out below in their entirety.

Article 1: Hospitality

The best reception will be reserved for guests. The owners undertake to personally ensure their welcome with all the desirable attentions to facilitate their stay and knowledge of the region.

Article 2: Conclusion of the contract

The reservation becomes effective once the customer has sent the owner a bank transfer corresponding to the amount of their stay. The transfer must be made before arrival. The transfer acts as a definitive contract. An invoice will be issued either at the customer's request or at the end of the stay.

Article 3: Duration

The duration of the contract is indicated on the invoice sent to the tenant. The contractual services will be carried out between these dates and are therefore of fixed duration. Any additional services must be the subject of a new invoice signed between the parties.

Article 4: Cancellation before the stay

If the guest cancels his stay 90 days before the arrival date, the stay will be fully refunded. If the guest cancels his stay within 60 days before his arrival, the refund will be charged by -30% .If the customer cancels his stay 45 days before his arrival The reservation remains entirely due to JC Iten

Article 5: Cancellation during the stay

In case of shortened stay, the price corresponding to the total cost of the reservation remains fully due to the owner.

Article 6: Cancellation for health reasons (before or during the stay)

Possible 100% deferral on another period or refund with -30% of the total price. Attention, a medical proof will be requested.

Article 7: Arrival

The tenant must present himself on the day specified on the contract. The arrival is flexible. In case of late or delayed arrival, the tenant must notify the owner.

Article 8: Departure

The departure of the room must be before 4pm to facilitate the arrival of the next tenants.

Article 9: Health
The tenant, if he comes for a sports stay, attests on the honor to be able to train, that is to have an adapted physical condition and do not present any contraindication to the practice of a sports activity. JC Iten Guest House will not be held liable in the event of an accident or health problem during the stay. Unless it results from a malfunction of the equipment provided.

Article 10: Respect for places and hosts
The customer must respect the peaceful character of the premises and make use of them in accordance with their destination. It also undertakes to make the premises entrusted in good condition and to assume financial responsibility – any degradation for which it would be responsible. The rooms and common areas of interior being non-smoking, the client undertakes to respect this deposit during his stay. Guests and other tenants must be respected throughout the stay. Any breach of this obligation may result in his expulsion and the termination of the contract, without any compensation being due to him.

Article 11: Accommodation capacity
The reservation of a room is established for a specific number of people, including children. If the number of customers exceeds this number, the owner is entitled to refuse additional customers or to refuse access. This refusal can in no case be considered as a modification or a breach of contract at the initiative of the owner, so that in case of departure of a greater number of customers than those refused, no refund can be considered and the balance remains due. If the capacity of the camp allows and if the owner wishes, a supplement can be applied according to the usual conditions.

Article 12: Minor Tenants

The attention of the guests is drawn to the fact that minors on the property are placed under the sole and full responsibility of their parents or persons having authority over them. 

Article 13: Exclusion of Liability

JC Iten Guest House does not respond to cases of loss, theft and/or damage or injury to property and/or persons on the property, regardless of the cause.

Article 14: Amendment of the conditions of sale

These conditions of sale can be modified at any time and without notice. Acceptance and compliance with these conditions of sale shall be deemed to have been obtained immediately upon payment of the deposit.

Article 15: Contractual services

JC Iten Guest House offers 3 types of rentals.

1. The rental of a traditional house «kalenji» with garden. This accommodation includes a traditional kitchen, a sofa and two beds. Showers and toilets are located outside the house. Electricity is not included in the rate.

2. Room rental (shower and toilet inside) with breakfast included. Wifi and TV in the common area. Garden and relaxation areas in free access. all options extra.

3. The rental of rooms (shower and toilet inside) with all inclusive services. That is:

- breakfast, lunch, dinner.

- wifi and television in the common area.

- free access to the gym with recovery equipment.

- cleaning of clothing and footwear

- garden and relaxation areas with free access.

Additional services are available at the tenant’s expense such as transportation to/from the airport, safaris, massages or bike rental.

- a coach to support you and develop your training plans according to your goals and levels

The Guest House  is composed of 14 rooms. You have the choice between a single, double or suite room depending on your number.

Article 16 – Data protection act
In accordance with Law no. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 relating to data processing, files and freedoms, you have the right to access and rectify the data concerning you. We undertake not to transmit the information you have provided to us to other companies or organizations.
